"As a Roman numeral, Model X examines legacies through new dimensions. Exploring the ‘perfect 10’, the figure reimagines Leonardo DaVinci’s Vitruvian Man, recalibrating a Renaissance ideal that still underpins much of the Western world’s design. Drawing on the average dimensions of women globally, Model X resets the waistline and sculpts strong limbs into a multifaceted silhouette. This collective DNA is grounded in Earth’s rhythms, being hewn from stone uplifted to the surface over 100 million years ago. Replicating its outline in shadow as XX, the Model’s marbled grain and planar form evidences tectonic shifts." (Gil Gatfield)
