"I’ve always been interested in the histories that sit beneath the things around us . . . from objects like the colonial table through to the big skies of the New Zealand landscape . . . For me, Veiled Landscapes is about looking again. Looking at the land, at the objects we keep, and at our own histories, and thinking about what has been covered over, what remains visible, and whose stories we choose to remember." Brendan Adams
