Liam Downes
| Liam Downes is a painter from England relocated to Waiheke Island. He has graduated as an illustrator and worked in commercial and graphic design. He particularly favours an impressionist style of loose fluid painting and has exhibited in New Zealand and England. His scenes are of the areas around Waiheke Island and Rangitoto Island that he has been entranced by and also those of a trip he did to India in 2002-03 where he observed a number of stunning landscapes and social scenes. |
