| Robert produces works exclusively
in oils on canvas and has been a professional teacher and artist for
over 20 years. Robert is a realist painter and has extensive experience in figurative and portrait studys. He has had several exhibitions which incorporate his love of surreal and powerful imagery. Rob has works in many private collections nationwide. A major commission now hangs in the Auckland Town Hall. Robert is available to do private commissions also as portraiture is his speciality. He is a fan of the Flemish painter Vermeer and paints in greys first to achieve tonal balance before applying colour. Robert's intricately detailed landscapes reflect his love of the New Zealand bush and areas of a personal connection. His works are held in private and public collections in New Zealand and overseas. |
