New Zealand steel sculptor Miles works in steel. A professional diver he has had a long fascination with marine life and has perfected a way to capture the beauty of ocean going fish as well as coastal river fish in high-grade steel. Each piece has been fashioned using fluctuations in heat and strip and spot welding. No colour has been added. Once completed a steel fish is spray laminated with a UV protective layer. This means they are suitable for outdoors although not in direct sunlight or extreme weather areas.
