Karen Hitchcock ceramicist

Karen is a self taught ceramicist who uses paper clay as a means to depict native trees and plant forms. Paper clay is a method of combining tissue into clay to lighten it and provide a finer substance to work with and fire in a conventional kiln. These pieces are suitable for both inside and outside and whilst they may look fine in detail they are relatively hardy and robust.
